Shanghai Science and Technology Museum

Shanghai Science and Technology Museum is a themed museum lying at the east end of Pudong's main road - Century Avenue which is connecting the sphere of Lujiazui to Shanghai's deep east. The construction of the museum was started on 18th December 1998, and on the same date after three years, Shanghai Science and Technology Museum made its debut to the public.

Furnished with a huge amount of exhibition and interaction facilities, Shanghai Science and Technology Museum is dedicated to bringing in the best opportunities for children to learn about nature facts and arousing their interests in science and technology. The museum comprises 12 regular exhibition galleries and 1 temporary exhibition gallery, which includes Home On Earth, Information Era, World of Robots, Light of Exploration, Human Beings and Health, Space Navigation, Spectrum of Life, Animal World, Crable of Designers, Light of Wisdom, Children's Playground, and Earthcrust Exploration.

In addition, the four theaters of IMAX 3D, IMAX Dome, IWERKS 4D, and Space Theater complement the museum by continuously bringing substantial educational films to all visitors.
