Blue Frog (DiYiFang on Zhenhua Road, Baoshan)

Authentic American burgers are not limited to fast-food dishes. Blue Frog was the first brand to bring a higher-level of burger experience to Shanghai. Its first outlet was established in 2003, on South Maoming Road. This neighborhood already hosted a variety of exotic restaurants and bars that were among the city's only haunts for cosmopolitan foodies at the time. 

By the time Blue Frog moved on from its original location, it had already won considerable popularity, and begun to spread across the city.

Among the new Blue Frog outlets is a site in the DiYiFang 第一坊 restaurant complex & recreation center, on Zhenhua Road, Baoshan District. 

The fare at Blue Frog ranges from burgers, salads, and other classic western dishes, to some selections of Asian flavors. The drink menu includes beers, wines, and cocktail, as well as alcohol-free 'mocktails' for nondrinkers.

This makes for a warm, family-friendly, moderately upscale dining destination, especially valued for its business lunches, casual dinners, and weekend brunch offerings.
