- Stop 1: People’s Square Area
Explore Shanghai’s cultural core: Shanghai Museum 上海博物馆(reservation required), Urban Planning Exhibition Center 城市规划展示馆, Shanghai History Museum 上海历史博物馆, People’s Park 人民公园. This area is known as Shanghai’s “city living room” — where history meets the hustle and bustle of modern life.
- Stop 2: Nanjing Road to The Bund
Walk along Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, once Shanghai’s most famous shopping street. Spot century-old department stores like the Wing On 永安百货 and Sincere buildings 先施大楼, browse local boutiques, and try street snacks along the way.
End your walk at The Bund, Shanghai’s postcard-perfect waterfront.
Admire grand historical buildings like: The Peace Hotel 和平饭店, The Customs House 海关大楼, Pudong Development Bank 浦东发展银行, Broadway Mansions 上海大厦, Waibaidu Bridge 外白渡桥.
Gaze across the Huangpu River for stunning views of the Lujiazui 陆家嘴 skyline — the heart of modern Shanghai.
- Stop 3: Yuyuan Garden & Bazaar
Step into the charm of old China at Yuyuan Garden, a classic Ming Dynasty-style garden filled with pavilions, ponds, and rockeries (garden entry ticket required).
Just outside, the bustling Yuyuan Bazaar is a must-see: walk the famous Nine-turn Bridge, visit Huxinting Teahouse, and taste local bites like Nanxiang soup dumplings.
- Final Stop: The Oriental Pearl Tower
